What’s included in the price:

·       Professional fees : including arranging all legal and administrative requirements

·       Collection & Transfer: We provide 24/7 collection and transfer of the person who has died based on 30 mile radius

·       Care of the Person Who Has Died : Includes our respectful care based on up to 14 nights including hygienic treatment (excludes embalming)

·       Clothing: Ability for us to redress the person who has died

·       Coffin: Our Minehead standard size oak veneered coffin is provided (or option to change at surcharge)

·       Chapel of Rest : Opportunities to have visits to our chapel of rest visiting room to spend time with person who has died in office hours (by appointment)

·       Funeral Scheduling : you choose the date and time available Monday to Friday between 10am to 4pm at Taunton Crematorium or Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at Sedgemoor Crematorium (other crematoriums available)

·       Funeral Structure : Typically up to 60 minutes at Crematorium to include entrance/exit providing you with around 30/40 minutes chapel service time (depending on crematorium) unlimited attendance numbers OR Church Service with burial OR Service at Natural Burial Grounds with burial

·       Transport: Provision of our traditional hearse and our limousine (to convey 6 family/friends) from local address (return journey onto local address or wake venue after service)

·       Media Services : our creative services to edit, scan and upload your photos to be displayed on our tv screen and to upload music for the service

·       Our Support : assist you (and any family or friends) with ordering floral tributes, designing and producing Orders of Service Booklets, and wording for Newspaper funeral announcement (additional fee applies for these actual items)

·       Our Support : we collect any floral message cards from any floral tributes, handed to you after the service, and providing our attendance list lectern to capture funeral attendees’ details to give you a quick and straight forward way to gather a record of those who attended the service (weather permitting if outside funeral) plus use of our music equipment ideal for church pre-recorded music to be played

·       Our Support : we collect monies of any donations to your chosen Charity at funeral or up to 1 month afterwards, and ensure monies go to Charity

·       Online Funeral Announcement : provided by us via our website dedicated page

·       In Memory Seed Packets : with our compliments our wildflower seed packets to remember your loved one

·       Our Attendance : Our funeral director and four professional bearers on the day (weight bearing max 16 stone) with choices of our traditional or coloured ties to be worn

·       Ashes: We collect ashes (within cardboard box) from crematorium on your behalf and store them in our funeral home safely for your collection up to 3 months (or we can arrange for them to be scattered in garden of remembrance)

·       Provision of after care and advice provided by SAIF Care, and access to our bereavement support groups in Minehead and post box for your letters in remembrance/to heaven,  invitation to our Christmas memorial gathering if required, if required

·       £240 if you do NOT want a minister or celebrant to officiate service (ie for a family led service)

·       Order of Service Booklets professional designed from simple to luxury – ask just for a price

·       Ability to purchase matching book of remembrance in same design as Luxury Order of Service Booklets (when ordered at same time) - £45

·       Newspaper placement of notice – typically £125/£155

·       If using Sedgemoor Crematorium add £150 if Mon-Wed or add £250 Thursday & Friday (Crematorium costs)

·       Crematorium charges for webcasting typically £70-£90, to have slideshow of 25 photos set to music £95

·       Purchase of a cremated ashes scatter tube £35 (makes scattering easy), urn (various materials and designs from £55), memory bear, ashes into jewellery or glassware - prices on request

·       Purchase of a temporary grave marker for burial (plastic from £35 or oak from £80) and permanent grave stone - prices on request

·       Hospitality - catering (menus available)

·       Carbon Footprint : Option for you to buy tree (£5 each) to be planted in memory of your loved one

·       Officiant Minister or Celebrant fee : £240

·       Media Services : our creative services to edit, scan and upload your photos to be displayed on our tv screen and to upload music for the service

·       Our Support : we liaise with company who films for webcasting service, if desired, (additional fee applies for the hire of the equipment/services to achieve this)

DIY Home Funeral Support - The Details

·       Practical support and advice to keep the person who has died in their own home up until the day of their funeral if appropriate to do so, to include advice so you can arrange the funeral administration and paperwork yourself

·       At additional costs, we can offer embalming procedures, completion of legal paperwork on your behalf, coffin, hearse and care and support in our clinical mortuary if and when you feel the time is right
