It should reassure you to know that we are members of the Association of Green Funeral Directors and abide by their code of conduct. It also means we pledge to also provide more sustainable and eco-friendly options in the funerals we carry out, alongside the more traditional funerals.

We have also applied to The National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors, which means we will have proven to have abide by their criteria and strict code of conduct, with our premises having been independently inspected ensuring we are delivering a high level of professionalism and that your loved ones are being cared for in a safe and and equipped premises. Our application has been sent, is being processed, and we are awaiting to find out our next steps to become a member.

Our Policies, Procedures & Open Approach

Whilst there is no law to state that any UK funeral director has to be part of any association, it is good practice that any business is underpinned by their own governance and compliance procedures. Here at Amanda-Louise we have our own robust policies and procedures that are reviewed and we are accountable to. We have a range of documents you can view. Our audit trail of documents safely shows how and where your loved one is from the moment we collect them into our care, through to the day of their funeral and thereafter of their cremated ashes until they are back in your safe hands.

Being ethical means we have an open approach, and will happily answer any questions honestly. Our doors are open if any of our families wish to participate in any of the care of their loved one whilst in our funeral home, and to visit our mortuary to see our clean facilities.
