Our Code of Principles : These define the fundamental ethical and professional standards that we abide to. Our goal to provide a trusted funeral directors, undertakers and services, and trust is at the centre of everything we do. Our values, policies and processes are designed to be transparent, clear, to protect you and your rights; creating a safe place for you to plan a funeral and in return, we can deliver an impeccable service. Our governance ensures our compliance and quality assurance, so we regularly review our policies and procedures to ensure we are innovative in our practices and continuous in improving our standards of quality.

Code of Ethics Policy

Purpose

This applies to protecting everyone and interlinks with our Equality & Diversity Policy and our Complaints Handling Policy. It focuses on our obligations in conduct.

Scope

To demonstrate we Services work within the boundaries of positive values and behaviours as a set of standards.

Policy Principles

Our commitments are to aim: -

  • To promote dignity and respect as outlined in the Equality Act 2010
  • Not to  tolerate any form of bullying, intimidation, or harassment.
  • To challenge and confront any such behaviour should it arise.
  • To continue personal and business development, and to keep abreast of latest     legislation and new developments within the industry of funerals.
  • To promote equality in our workplace
  • Respond to enquiries within 48 hours.
  • Respect  client confidentiality
  • Disclose  any suppliers we have vested interest in
  • Carry  out risk assessments.
  • Work within the remits of Data Protection and not disclose any client’s     information to suppliers who are not involved in their ceremony/event.
  • To use lay terms in all legally binding documentation
  • To  represent clients in a professional manner
  • To be  ethical, honest and gives choices to our clients, and that they understand  their obligations. To provide clear information to empower our clients to make informed decisions that is right for their wants and needs. To be transparent about costs.
  • To safeguard our deceased clients in a safe, appropriate and dignified     manner, and to keep appropriate records of our interaction and their     whereabouts.
