Here at Amanda-Louise Funeral Services, we support families to think of all aspects they may wish to consider after their loved one dies, and publishing a death notice is a heartfelt and considerate plus practical way to announce to family and friends of their passing.

When using our services, we provide a free online death notice which includes all the details of the funeral, funeral reception wake, if monies will be taken in their memory to be given to your chosen charity, a chance to share a photo, whether flowers are acceptable and so on. This helps next of kin sharing such information, without the need to have long conversations with everyone. And as we plan the funeral, so we keep updating the online death notice.

What Information Is Shared

Typically we would include the following:-

Naturally we take instructions from our client (who is usually next of kin), and if they wish us to make any changes we can update information.

Here in Minehead the most popular newspapers are West Somerset Free Press and Somerset Gazette. We support families to place a newspaper announcement with suggested wording. The newspaper charges will apply.
